Competition rules

Organisation The 'Ace Manager - Best of Belgium' competition, organised by Fortis Banque Belgique SA (hereafter BNP Paribas Fortis), Montagne du Parc 3, 1000 Brussels, will run from 16/06/2010 until 12 noon on 30/06/2010. Entry in the competition is free and without obligation. Prizes The prizes are 5 duo tickets for the BNP Paribas Fortis ‘Best of Belgium’ on 8 July 2010. These tickets can neither be transferred nor exchanged for cash. Participation Any student of a Belgian university or business school who competed in the second edition of the ‘Ace Manager’ online game in 2010 and is a recipient of the ‘Ace Manager – Best of Belgium’ mailing can enter the competition. The competition is closed to employees and interns of BNP Paribas Fortis. Only individual entries are eligible and only one entry per contestant is eligible (if there are several entries for one contestant, only the last one will be taken into account). Entry in the competition is solely possible via the ‘Ace Manager - Best of Belgium’ mailing; the questions are to be found on the BNP Paribas website. Contestants are identified based on their email address. Any incorrect or incomplete email address will be considered invalid. Winners The winners will be those contestants who answer the questions correctly and who come closest to the right answer to the subsidiary question. With regard to the subsidiary question, the closest figure above the correct answer will take precedence over the closest figure below the correct answer. In the case of a tie, lots will be drawn to determine the winners. The prizes will be awarded based on the electronic registration of the answers. The winners will be personally informed directly after the competition ends by email to the address given at the time of entry. They can pick up their tickets, upon presentation of ID (identity card), from the BNP Paribas Fortis Desk at the King Baudouin Stadium on 8 July 2010. In the case of a tie, lots will be drawn to determine the winners. Privacy All data will be recorded in the BNP Paribas Fortis database. Liability BNP Paribas Fortis cannot be held responsible for technical problems with the contestant’s computer or provider that result in late entry or loss of the contestant’s data. BNP Paribas Fortis cannot be held responsible for the quality of the prizes. Except in the case of gross negligence, BNP Paribas Fortis cannot be held responsible for damage of any kind whatsoever that may result from entry in this competition or the award of the prizes. Disputes By entering this competition, the contestant fully accepts all these rules as well as any decision that the organiser may have to take in future. There will be no correspondence or telephone conversations about this competition with contestants other than communication with the winners. The organiser reserves the right to eliminate immediately any contestant suspected of fraud. Printing, spelling, typing or similar errors cannot be put forward as reason for compensation or for any other claim on the organiser. Any matter not covered by these rules will be considered individually by the organiser; the decision of the organiser will be final. Miscellaneous The organiser reserves the right to amend these rules or to cancel the competition in the case of force majeure or of any other event beyond the organiser’s control. Contestants consent to the organiser publishing the list of winners (name and postcode, and possibly also a photograph) for advertising purposes without receiving any remuneration, copyright or any benefit other than the prizes awarded to the winners.   Copyright © Fortis Bank Privacy
